Formed in November 2024 after meeting through various orchestras and chamber music projects, our string quartet brings together four musicians based in the Netherlands, each of us with our own musical background and character.

 

What truly unites us is a shared joy in making music together, a lot of the time in a studio located in Amsterdam (the most central for us all!). It's where we rehearse, occasionally perform, and have even made recordings. We are passionate about bringing the timelessness of the string quartet "sound" to audiences in a wide range of versatile and accessible settings.

Finally - we also love learning as permanent students of the art of the string quartet. We have been been honoured to learn from members of the Concertgebouw Orkest, Ruysdael Quartet, Cuarteto Casals and others.  We were also grateful ti participate in the inaugural mastercourse for amateur string quartets as part of the Amsterdam String Quartet Biennale 2026, where we performed David Dramm's Déjà vu, and Felix Mendelssohn's String Quartet No.6. Lucky us :)
